DRE-S777
The DRE-S777 is a technologically advanced digital effects processor that recreates the "real" ambience reverberation of concert halls, theaters and soundstages with an unparalleled depth, presence and richness.

The DRE-S777 derives it's sound not from artificially generated algorithms, but from actual impulse response samples of real acoustic spaces. Sony engineers have collected sample data from some of the world's most highly regarded halls, studios, and other acoustic environments plus a classic analog plate reverb.
Designed to provide recording engineers and producers a level of realism, acoustic depth and accuracy never before available in a reverb processor. Also, as a means of achieving realistic "location" acoustics without leaving the studio. The DRE-S777 can be configured to operate in either a totally digital or analog interface and can also be outfitted to operate in four-channel surround mode.
A number of optional cards give the DRE-S777 these capabilities. As many as seven reverb programs can be provided on a single CD-ROM software disc and stored internally for further use.
  • Digital or optional analog inputs/outputs
  • multi-channel surround capabilities
  • up to 96k digital I/O
  • Optional European concert venue and US spaces, including the Grand Canyon, discs available
  • Sampling software now available for creating your own "real" world spaces
